Gaurs International School, Greater Noida West added another feather to its cap when it won the Bharat Institution Rankings 2023 - Top ranked schools of India award. The school was bestowed with city rank 1 and state rank 3 in the category of Experiential learning school.

GIS becomes Money Smart

Gaurs International School has been awarded with the ”Money Smart School″ award by the National Center for Financial Education.

This is an initiative of the National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE) which is promoted by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).
It provides unbiased financial education in schools for improving financial literacy which is an important life-skill for holistic development of each student.

The program is based on two pillars; education and awareness, and aims to establish a sustainable financial literacy campaign that will empower an entire generation.

As guided by this vision, we have adapted the financial literacy program for classes VI to VIII with the study material jointly prepared by NCFE and CBSE, to equip our students to deal with today's complex financial products and services and exhibit prudent behaviour and attitude when it comes to managing their own money.

Through this programme our students learnt about the banking system, Insurance along with the concept of saving and investment at an early stage.
To facilitate in depth learning the students were told to prepare a budget on their pocket money and also learn about financial planning of their birthday parties, get togethers, etc.
They also showcased their skills by presenting a skit on Financial education through which they made the audience clear about soiled and mutilated notes.

The students were trained by NCFE certified Money Smart Teachers. Their evaluation was done through the means of an exam on completion of which they were awarded with the Money Smart Student Certificate.

The North India’s School Merit Awards

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Gaurs International School, Greater Noida West has been conferred with an award for 'Excellence in Comprehensive and Holistic Development Program' by ELDROK India, a premier K-12 technological organisation serving some of the premier institutions across the country. This award has been conferred to the school out of 3500 other premier participating schools of the country and it stood in the top hundred positions, rubbing it's shoulders with some of the oldest institutions of the country.

Gaurs International School was awarded 2nd position in India by Education World’s Grand Jury in category of Social Outreach for promoting free evening school for under privileged girls inspired by "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" initiative. Gaurs International School was awarded BEST SCHOOL in SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE in INDIA by PEFI . The 3rd PEFI award ceremony was held on 11-08-2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Mrs Manju Gaur , Director Gaursons India Pvt Ltd received this award from the President of Delhi State BJP and Member of Parliament Mr. Manoj Tiwari.

Rally For Rivers – A Social Awareness Campaign

A greener cleaner world for our future generations has been and will always be the motto of Gaurs International School. As part of our life skills building program and inculcating an environment friendly attitude in the students , teachers and parents of Gaurs International School extended their support to the " Rally for Rivers " campaign aimed at saving the dying rivers of India.

The aim of the campaign was to generate awareness regarding the gravity of our rivers depleting. The students who are our next generation were made aware of the fact that the rivers are our lifeline and the very existence of human race is dependent upon the abundance of water in our rivers.

Students along with the teachers moved from door to door in different avenues of Gaur City I talking about how planting more and more trees can save rivers from drying. Their target was to touch 1000 families and help them realise their responsibility of saving the rivers by planting trees and avoiding wastage of water. Every drop of water counts and goes a long way in preserving for future generations. They requested each family to give a missed call on 8000980009 and extend their support towards the campaign. Students gifted each family a sapling of Tulsi which is the most auspicious plant in Indian culture as a token of gratitude for their support.

Students also made a human formation to spread awareness about the alarming condition of our rivers depleting and extend support to Rally for Rivers campaign. Their human formation became extremely popular all over India and was submitted as artwork.

This Artwork made by the students of Gaurs International School - " NEXT GENERATION RALLIES FOR THEIR RIGHT TO WATER" was ranked among the top 10 entries out of the 762 artworks displayed all over India in Rally for Rivers campaign. We were felicitated for our commendable efforts and awareness drive. We also won the 1st prize in the Weekly Winner contest from (Aug 31st - Sep 4th).

Naya Bharat-Sankalp Se Siddh

We participated in the campaign, Naya Bharat-Sankalp se Siddhi - launched by the government of India to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Quit India movement. We had submitted a Swachh Bharat video that illustrated Gaur city as Zero garbage city. It is a matter of great pride for us that our Director Mrs Manju Gaur has been honoured a certificate for this noteworthy achievement.
