Labour Day
Inspired and guided by the firm belief of our School Director , Ms Manju Gaur Mam in instilling deep rooted moral values in our Gaurians , on May 1, 2024 we celebrated International Labour Day with enthusiasm . The day commenced with a special assembly aimed at raising awareness about the significance of Labour Day and expressing appreciation for the hard work of the school's staff.During the assembly, the students of Class 4A performed a short skit highlighting the importance of labor and its contributions to society. The performing arts department added to the festive atmosphere by singing uplifting songs, spreading joy and gratitude.
Ms. Vandana Seth, the Head of School, expressed heartfelt thanks to the staff members for their dedication and commitment. She presented a heartfelt thank you card on behalf of the school, acknowledging their tireless efforts in shaping the school's environment.
Additionally, the students of Class 2 showcased their appreciation by presenting handmade cards, crafted with love and creativity, to the staff members. These personalized gestures touched the hearts of the staff, reinforcing the sense of camaraderie and appreciation within the school community.
The assembly culminated with a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing unity and celebration. Through this event, Gaurs International School honored the spirit of Labor Day and recognized the invaluable contributions of its staff members in nurturing the future generation.

Inter-House
Gaurs International School Siddharth Vihar recently hosted an electrifying Sub-Junior Inter-House Football Competition, showcasing a fusion of athleticism and school spirit. The event witnessed spirited battles among the four houses – Azad House, Gandhi House, Subhash House, and Tilak House.
Subhash House emerged victorious, showcasing exceptional skills and securing the prestigious first position. Gandhi House displayed commendable performance, clinching the second place with determination and skill.
Tilak House and Azad House put up a valiant effort, securing the third and fourth positions respectively, in a closely contested tournament.
The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Head of School, Ms. Vandana Seth, whose words of encouragement motivated the young players to give their best on the field. The enthusiastic audience, filled with fervent supporters of each house, added to the vibrant atmosphere, cheering passionately throughout the competition.
Special commendation goes to the dedicated Physical Education Instructors, Dr. Vibha Pathak and Mr. Prabal Gupta, whose meticulous planning and coordination ensured the smooth conduct of the event, contributing to its success.
Overall, the Sub-Junior Inter-House Football Competition at Gaurs International School Siddharth Vihar was a resounding success, fostering a sense of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among the students.
IBM Skills Build Edunet Foundation

Ms. Rashmi Vohra, Soft Skills Trainer and SME, Edunet Foundation conducted an orientation session of IBM Skills Build Program for students highlighting its significance in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape. The session emphasized the importance of acquiring relevant skills to stay competitive in the job market.It familiarized the students with the training program and its objectives which is to equip students with essential technical skills in areas such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and blockchain.The students were informed about the hands-on learning approach adopted by IBM, which includes interactive modules, case studies, and practical exercises through which students will acquire Expert Guidance, Certification Opportunities, Collaborative Learning Environment for Career Development .Further students will be provided with access to the training platform, where they can begin their learning journey. Regular progress assessments and support mechanisms are in place to ensure students' success throughout the training program with a focus on skill development, certification and career advancement.
